Capitol Report with Rep. Tom Dent

Rep. Tom Dent, R-Moses Lake, talks with Capitol Report about his legislation that would protect fire fighters through the utilization of GPS technology.  Dent, who is deeply concerned about natural resources in the state of Washington, also discusses his House bill 2925, which if passed, would pave the way for owners of livestock to retrieve their animals from DNR fire zones.  Traditionally, the Department of Natural Resources does not allow ranchers into an active fire zone for such purposes.  Dent says his bill would require the livestock owner to accept liability when traveling into these areas to round up their animals.
