Rep. Tom Dent talks about turning the forest into a resource

Rep. Tom Dent, R-Moses Lake appeared on KBSN to discuss recent activity in the legislature as the 2016 session nears an end.  Dent elaborated stewardship of the forests, and the progress of recent legislation on wildfires.  He also talked about two bills he has introduced which now await the governor's signature.  One pertains to the retrieval of livestock from public lands during the event of wildfire.  The other centers on aircraft registration.  Dent, who is also a pilot, stated that there are many small aircraft in the skies of his district, and the legislation comes as a service to the pilots there as well as statewide.
