Rep. Dent speaks against the majority party’s transportation funding package
Rep. Dent speaks against Senate Bill 5974 – the majority party's Move Ahead Washington transportation plan – during floor debate on March 1.
It is a 16-year, $16.8 billion transportation package that would raise various transportation-related fees and taxes. It would also tap into the state's Public Works Assistance Account (PWAA) with a transfer of $100 million per year for the life of the package.
The proposal had bipartisan opposition.
