Rep. Tom Dent talks to KIT Radio about children’s safety in DCYF programs, using CCA funds for transportation projects, and forest health

Rep. Tom Dent, R-Moses Lake, joined KIT Radio to provide a preview of the 2026 legislative session and discuss some of his legislation. Dent also talked about the recent overpass closure near Moses Lake and the challenges facing our transportation system. He touched on using Climate Commitment Act dollars going toward transportation projects, protecting youth in homes where parents may be showing signs of substance abuse, and maintaining forest health as the state continues to battle catastrophic wildfires.
